There are several flex levels of this longboard deck. The main difference is the weight and the materials. For flex 1, you have a stronger construction in the form of 2 layers of fiberglass and 6 layers of Canadian maple, which is well suited for larger adults. In flex 2 you get a little more flex and a deck consisting of 2 layers of fiberglass and 5 layers of Canadian maple, so still a strong and durable deck, just better suited children and less weighty people.
The deck has a medium concave and is designed as a twin tip with cutouts at both ends. As a twin tip longboard for cruising, you can skate in both directions just as well – great when you are on the go and just want to get cruising. The 4 cutouts at each wheel means that you avoid wheel-bite and get more flex in the longboard. The concave provides a good grip for the feet
The wheels are angular and of size 74 mm, with a hardness of 78 A and ABEC-9 ball bearings. This makes the longboard extremely comfortable to ride on and also provides a super stable foothold for when you are out cruising.
The two trucks are of the size 7″ and are drop-through mounted. This provides a stable longboard for a bit of everything in longboarding, but especially for the cruising style.
If you can see yourself cruising in style and casually skating forward to your destinations, then NKX Signature Pro will be just the right longboard for you.
